1. Service description

vsteps is an iOS app that tracks your daily steps via Apple Health and lets you compete with friends on leaderboards. The app is available on the App Store.

2. User account

Account creation is done via Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for the security of your account. Only one account per person is allowed.

3. Premium subscription

vsteps offers a Premium subscription with additional features. The subscription is managed and billed by Apple through the App Store. Renewal and cancellation terms are governed by Apple's terms and conditions.

4. Acceptable use

By using vsteps, you agree to:

• Not falsify your step data or manipulate leaderboards.
• Respect other users and refrain from abusive behavior.
• Not attempt unauthorized access to vsteps systems.
• Not use the app for unauthorized commercial purposes.

5. Fair play

vsteps is built on trust between friends. Any attempt at cheating (artificial data, bots, API manipulation) may result in the suspension or deletion of your account without notice.

6. Intellectual property

All content of the vsteps app (design, logo, text, code) is protected by copyright. Unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.

7. Limitation of liability

vsteps is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that the service will be available without interruption. vsteps is not a medical device and should not be used as such.

8. Changes to terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes through the app.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Swiss law. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent jurisdiction in Switzerland.
